Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly 2-form entry primary school in Wigan. The long-term role starts in November, offering stability and ongoing CPD support via Tradewind, with a welcoming team and a focus on pupil wellbeing.

You will support the Class Teacher, lead small groups in Phonics and literacy/numeracy, and contribute to observations and student profiles.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven KS1 experience in primary teaching support.
• Patient, creative and energetic approach to learning.
• DBS checked (Update Service preferred) or willing to apply.

The Role

Requirements
