Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow are working with a primary school in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Key Stage 1 teacher on a full time basis from January. You will teach a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class with planning and marking responsibilities, in a supportive school community.

This two-term role suits an ECT or a fully qualified KS1 teacher seeking consistency and local impact, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or candidates on the Initial Teacher Training path (ECT).
• Proven KS1 teaching experience within a primary setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Cover and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
• Support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
