Connex Education Partnership is recruiting KS1 Teachers for North Somerset primary schools, working exclusively with the BWMAT alliance to offer flexible roles from ASAP. Roles range from day-to-day cover to short-term and long-term placements across North Somerset, with some positions lasting until July 2027.

This is an excellent chance to develop within inclusive, supportive school settings that prioritise pupil wellbeing.

About the Role

Connex Education is delighted to be working exclusively alongside a respected Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit passionate ECTs and KS1 Teachers for opportunities starting as soon as possible!

We are currently supporting a number of friendly and inclusive BWMAT primary schools across North Somerset, with flexible KS1 teaching roles available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis. Some placements may run through until Christmas, while others could continue for the full academic year ending in July 2027.

This is a brilliant opportunity for enthusiastic KS1 Teachers who want flexibility while developing their careers in supportive school settings that place a strong emphasis on creativity, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

Job Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Confidence teaching across KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to different school environments.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
