Job summary

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Evesham to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher for this academic year. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have QTS or equivalent, strong classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. This is a full-time position with ongoing local consultant support.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 is desirable.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidence in establishing clear boundaries and maintaining consistency.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • The ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
  • Establish clear expectations and maintain strong behaviour management throughout the school day.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessment and planning.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Are you an experienced and confident KS1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Evesham who are seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team from this academic year!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can create an engaging learning environment while maintaining strong and consistent behaviour management.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking for a teacher who is confident, organised and consistent, with excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
