Job summary

Aspire People Ltd. are recruiting for a passionate KS1 teacher with QTS to join a Leicester primary school on a long-term supply basis. You will deliver engaging lessons and support early reading, writing and maths, while building strong foundations in learning.

This is an exciting, stable ongoing role with opportunities to secure a longer-term position within the school, supported by an Aspire People consultant who will guide you through the placement.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential to teach KS1.
• Experience teaching in a primary school, KS1 preferred.
• Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and early learning development.
• Effective classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across Key Stage 1.
• Support pupils in developing their early reading, writing and maths skills.
• Plan and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Create a nurturing, structured and stimulating classroom environment.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and encourage confidence in learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support development.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and classroom participation.
• Work closely with colleagues and school leadership to support the wider learning environment.

Location: Leicester Salary: £140-£160 per day Contract: Long-term supply Start Date: Immediate / ongoing

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated QTS-qualified KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Leicester on a long-term supply basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and is passionate about building strong foundations in learning. You will play a key role in supporting children's early academic, social and emotional development while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
