Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a QTS-qualified KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Leicester on a long-term supply basis. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons and support the development of early reading, writing and maths skills, while maintaining a nurturing classroom environment.

The role offers ongoing opportunities with Aspire People, including consultant support and access to additional education opportunities. Start date is immediate/ongoing.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for this KS1 teaching role.
• Previous experience teaching in primary KS1 is preferred.
• Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and early learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1.
• Support pupils in reading, writing and maths development.
• Plan and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
• Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback for development.
• Promote positive behaviour and participation.
• Collaborate with school staff and leadership.
