Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a KS1 teacher for a long-term supply role in Leicester. You will deliver engaging lessons and support early reading, writing, and maths development in a welcoming primary school setting.

QTS is essential and prior KS1 experience is preferred. You will work with a supportive Aspire People consultant to secure consistent work with potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development.
• Effective classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Location: Leicester Salary: £140-£160 per day Contract: Long-term supply Start Date: Immediate / ongoing

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated QTS-qualified KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Leicester on a long-term supply basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and is passionate about building strong foundations in learning. You will play a key role in supporting children's early academic, social and emotional development while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
