Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This full-time, term-time only role offers varied classroom duties, opportunities to work across multiple schools, and a pathway to permanent placements.

DBS checks are required. The ideal candidate has experience with primary-aged children, holds a Level 2/3 TA qualification, and demonstrates patience, flexibility and excellent communication skills with pupils, parents

Qualifications

Experience working with primary-aged children.
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Patient, caring, and flexible with excellent communication skills.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

Support learning and development of pupils across KS1 and KS2.
Assist with planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs.
Help promote positive behaviour and a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo, and support staff.
