Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Primary) to work across Yeovil primary schools. This flexible role offers day-to-day supply, longer-term placements, or work aligned to your commitments, with a daily rate of £93–£115.

You will support learning in Key Stage 1 and 2, provide 1:1 and small-group help, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom. A Level 2 TA qualification or relevant experience is desirable; safeguarding and strong communication are

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within primary classrooms.
• Work alongside class teachers to engage pupils and support their potential.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.
• Adapt confidently to different school settings and routines.
