Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. The role covers KS1 and KS2, providing classroom support and delivering targeted small-group interventions to boost pupil progress.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, using QTS where applicable, and bring a positive, proactive approach to the team in a supportive environment with a strong OFSTED rating.

Qualifications

• QTS required and experience delivering in primary settings.
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Ability to deliver effective small-group interventions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching support.

Responsibilities
