Exciting Opportunity: KS1 Teacher Wanted in Gillingham
Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Gillingham

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator ready to inspire the next generation of learners? Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Gillingham that is seeking a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join their team. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
  • Creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and a love for learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in education (KS1 preferred but not essential).
  • Safeguarding training (available via Teaching Personnel).
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through us.
