Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is hiring a Vehicle Technician in Yeovil. You will join a busy workshop, receive a base salary of £33,000–£35,000 depending on experience, with the potential to earn £50,000+ OTE.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks.
• Identify additional work where appropriate.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information.
• Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Work towards workshop productivity and efficiency targets.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

You'll join a busy workshop in Yeovil, offering a basic salary of £33,000–£35,000 depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn £50,000+ OTE.

• You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing vehicles, while working efficiently and maintaining manufacturer standards.

THE ROLE

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll Need

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic role
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

It would be great if you also have:

• Main dealership experience
• Manufacturer training or accreditation
• MOT Tester qualification
• Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
• Experience working to workshop productivity targets
