Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing invites applications for a Vehicle Technician in Yeovil. The role offers a £33,000-£35,000 basic salary with a realistic £50,000+ OTE, and manufacturer training within a modern dealership workshop.

You will service, maintain, repair and diagnose vehicles to manufacturer standards, with opportunities for progression and development in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks.
• Identify additional work where appropriate.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information.
• Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Work towards workshop productivity and efficiency targets.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
