Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for an established automotive dealership in Staines. You will diagnose faults, carry out complex repairs and servicing to a high standard in a busy workshop.

With ongoing manufacturer training, development opportunities and a professional workshop environment, the role rewards accuracy, efficiency and teamwork. A full UK driving licence and relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent are preferred qualifications.

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults.
• Complete inspections and identify additional work required.
• Carry out work efficiently with a right‑first‑time approach.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the Aftersales team.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and cleanliness in the Workshop.

We’re recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Staines that is looking to strengthen its Workshop team with an experienced Technician.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a hands‑on technical role suited to someone who is confident diagnosing faults, carrying out complex repairs and working to a consistently high standard.

You’ll be part of an established Workshop environment with opportunities to continue developing your skills and technical knowledge.

THE PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• £34,000–£45,000 basic salary

• £58,000 OTE

THE ROLE

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Confidence handling a varied workload

• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A full UK driving licence

• Main dealership experience would be advantageous

• Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent
