Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a reputable Dorchester dealership. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles, using modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer procedures to meet high-quality standards.

The role offers a competitive basic salary dependent on experience with an OTE around £40,000, plus manufacturer training and progression opportunities within an established retailer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Time-served Technician status
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
• Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment
• Good understanding of manufacturer procedures
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles
• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
• Work towards agreed productivity and efficiency targets
• Complete accurate job records and documentation
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

The workshop is looking for a capable Technician who can work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

THE ROLE

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Time-served Technician status

• Good understanding of manufacturer procedures
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

It would be great if you also have:

• Main dealership experience
• Manufacturer training or accreditation
• Experience working to workshop productivity targets
• Diagnostic experience
• Hybrid or electric vehicle experience
• MOT Tester qualification
