Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD is assisting an established automotive dealership in Gravesend to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. You’ll carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics across a range of vehicles as part of an experienced Workshop team.

The role offers a stable environment, strong earning potential with a basic salary of £32,500–£40,000 and £60,000 OTE, plus manufacturer training and ongoing development. Franchised dealership background preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Confident servicing, repairing and maintaining vehicles.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using manufacturer and diagnostic equipment where required.
• Completing work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work.
• Following manufacturer procedures and health and safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop records.
• Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider Aftersales team.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and professional.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join an established automotive dealership in Gravesend.

THE ROLE

You’ll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics across a range of vehicles, working as part of an experienced Workshop team.

Franchised dealership experience would be advantageous, but we're happy to consider strong Technicians from other automotive backgrounds.
