Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician at an established automotive dealership in Epsom. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing faults, servicing, and maintaining vehicles to high standards while keeping up with evolving technology including EVs.

You will work in a busy workshop, leverage diagnostic tools, and complete work efficiently with a right-first-time approach. UK driving licence and relevant NVQ are required. Training opportunities are offered.

We’re recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Epsom that is looking to strengthen its workshop team with an experienced Technician.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a technical position within a busy dealership environment, suited to someone who can bring strong technical ability, sound technical judgement and a professional approach to every vehicle they work on.

The business is also committed to keeping its technicians’ skills up to date as vehicle technology continues to develop, including ongoing training around electric vehicles and newer vehicle systems.

THE ROLE

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Use current diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults.
• Provide technical advice and support where required.
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work carried out.
• Work closely with the wider workshop and Aftersales team to keep vehicles moving.

You’ll Need

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong previous experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• An NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy workshop.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A professional approach to quality, safety and customer service.
• Main dealership experience.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Manufacturer technical training.
• Experience working with a wide range of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment.
