Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy dealership in Coleraine. You will diagnose and repair faults, perform servicing to high standards and keep accurate records of all work.

The role offers up to £44,000 basic and approx. £60,000 OTE, with ongoing training around electric vehicles and newer systems within a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience as an Automotive Technician
• Proven ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults
• An NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy workshop
• A full UK driving licence
• A professional approach to quality, safety and customer service

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Use current diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults
• Provide technical advice and support where required
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work carried out
• Work closely with the wider workshop and aftersales team to keep vehicles moving

We’re recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Carlisle that is looking to strengthen its workshop team with an experienced Technician.

• This is a technical position within a busy dealership environment, suited to someone who can bring strong technical ability, sound technical judgement and a professional approach to every vehicle they work on

• An MOT Testing qualification
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles
• Manufacturer technical training
• Experience working with a wide range of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
