Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting for a Kitchen Team Member at Barrow-in-Furness Premier Inn. The role is 18 hours per week with a pay rate up to £13.06 per hour, permanent contract, and shifts including evenings and weekends.

You'll prepare meals, cook and plate breakfast and dinner, maintain kitchen cleanliness, handle deliveries and stock, and work closely with hotel staff to ensure smooth service. Prior hospitality experience isn’t required; willingness to learn matters most.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
• This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up
• You'll be part of a team that's working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on
