Job summary

Whitbread Kendal Central Premier Inn is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals as part of a busy hotel kitchen. This permanent role offers 15 hours per week with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Up to £13.06 per hour, location Kendal Central Premier Inn, MAUDE Street Kendal LA9 4QG. You’ll join a team that delivers meals guests rely on, with opportunities to learn kitchen skills, food safety, and work across breakfast and dinner services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and store stock properly.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking presentable.
