Job summary

Whitbread’s Torquay Premier Inn is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member for a permanent role. It is 30 hours per week with pay up to £13.06 per hour, based at Torquay Seafront. You’ll help prepare, cook and plate meals for breakfast and dinner in a busy hotel kitchen.

You’ll work evenings and weekends, receive deliveries, manage stock and support the hotel team to ensure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.

Qualifications

• Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.
• If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
