Job summary

Panku Food is seeking energetic kitchen staff to join its YO! team. You will be involved in food prep, sushi rolling, passing, hot section work, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in a busy QSR environment.

You will embrace challenges, be a strong team player, and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes while adhering to safety standards and product specs. Training and progression opportunities are available as part of our growth story.

Qualifications

• A passion for great food and being part of a like-minded team.
• Competence in all kitchen areas including prep, cleaning, and safety.
• Knowledge of fresh food, cooking techniques and quick service environment.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a QSR environment.
• Understanding of stock control to minimise waste.
• Willingness to learn Sushi, hot section, and pass duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support with setup, maintenance, and handover of workstations each shift.
• Roll sushi, work the pass, and assist in the hot section.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and follow Food Safety protocols.
• Keep up-to-date with product specs and menu changes.
• Be a proactive team player supporting the YO! team during busy periods.
