Job summary

Premier Inn Gloucester (Quayside) is hiring a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day to day, manage rotas, place food orders and lead the team through busy services. You will own food quality, hygiene and stock control, working closely with the Hotel Manager to drive the kitchen forward.

This hands‑on leadership role offers a clear path to more senior kitchen positions and a chance to build a strong Premier Inn career within the Whitbread family.

Qualifications

You will run the kitchen day to day, including rota management and leading a team through busy services.
Take ownership of food quality, hygiene and stock control.
Collaborate with the Hotel Manager to develop kitchen leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the hotel.
Take the lead during service – organizing the team, managing workflow, and ensuring smooth operations.
Prepare, cook and serve menu items to spec from Premier Inn breakfasts to pub classics.
Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept up to date.
Step up during shifts and help new team members settle in.
Develop skills for more senior roles over time.
