Job summary

Premier Inn Dorchester is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen operations, manage rotas, place food orders, and lead the team through busy services in partnership with the Hotel Manager.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on food quality, hygiene and audit readiness, helping you build skills toward a future Head Chef role. 30 hours per week, pay up to £14.31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen leadership and team management.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control, and food cost management for the hotel.
• Lead service and organise the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu items to spec, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained and records kept up to date.
• Step up to cover shifts and support new team members joining the team.
• Develop kitchen management skills toward more senior roles within the group.
