Job summary

Haven is recruiting a Kitchen Team Manager to lead a busy kitchen, delivering high-quality meals and guest-focused service. You’ll set direction, motivate a large team, and keep operations smooth with hands-on cooking, coaching, and performance reviews.

You’ll manage budgets, schedules, and resources while upholding health and safety standards, brand policies, and compliance. Flexible for evenings, weekends and holidays with a bonus up to 10% annually.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large kitchen teams in roles such as Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to deliver excellent service and targets.
• Ensure top guest experience by maintaining high standards and hospitality.
• Monitor performance, coach staff, and conduct reviews.
• Oversee scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance with policies and brand standards.
• Resolve issues quickly to keep daily operations smooth.
• Support training and development of team members.
