Job summary

Haven is seeking a Kitchen Team Manager to lead a dynamic kitchen, ensuring top-quality meals and service for guests. You will be hands-on with cooking and performance, guiding the team to meet targets while maintaining safety and brand standards.

The role focuses on strong leadership, cost control, and ongoing development of staff, with a bonus up to 10% and a permanent, full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large kitchen teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management within a kitchen/food service setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals and service.
• Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor and manage performance, provide feedback, coaching, and conduct reviews.
• Oversee scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
• Support staff development through training and mentoring.
