Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide a busy kitchen in our Chef & Brewer pubs. You will lead by example, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation while supporting your team to deliver excellent service.

You will maintain hygiene and safety compliance, deputise for management when needed, and coordinate the team during peak periods to keep service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team.
• Passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and ensuring every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
