Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader in Fareham to guide a kitchen crew, ensuring service runs smoothly and dishes meet the highest standards. You will coach and support your team, maintain food safety, and step in for management during peak periods.

You’ll be responsible for organizing a busy service, keeping the kitchen compliant with hygiene regulations, and modelling the level of excellence expected across Greene King pubs.

Qualifications

• As a Kitchen Leader you’ll set a standard for the team to follow while maintaining high food quality and safety.
• You’ll lead by example, helping the team work together to deliver dishes to spec.
• You’ll uphold hygiene and safety requirements in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to ensure team and visitor safety.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during busy service to keep operations smooth.
