Job summary

Greene King’s Chef & Brewer pubs are looking for a Kitchen Team Leader who leads by example, ensuring the team has everything they need so service runs like clockwork. You’ll support your colleagues, uphold high standards, deputise for management during busy periods, and help deliver tasty, well-presented dishes to guests across our country pubs.

Experience in fast-paced kitchens and a focus on hygiene are important, and you’ll contribute to a friendly, team-focused workplace with opportunities

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Strong team leadership and collaboration.
• High standards of food presentation and service.
• Ability to think on feet during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy service, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
