Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader at the Curlew in Vintage Inns to support the Head Chef in creating a kitchen to be proud of. You will master the menu with passion for great food and for training great people, driving standards and team performance on shift.

You will lead by example, manage food ordering and stock, and ensure health and hygiene compliance while promoting a welcoming guest experience in a cosy rural pub setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen or team in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to train and develop Chefs and Kitchen Team.
• Experience with stock control and food ordering.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs to deliver high‑quality dishes.
• Smash targets with your team and manage shift performance.
• Oversee food ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with branded menu and hygiene rules.
