Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen you can be proud of. You will oversee training, menu execution, and stock control while motivating your team to achieve targets and deliver great food.

You will ensure health and hygiene compliance, work with branded menus, and help create a positive, high-performing kitchen environment within one of the UK’s leading pub brands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a busy pub or restaurant.
• Strong team management and coaching skills.
• Good understanding of food ordering and stock control.
• Knowledge of branded menus and consistent quality.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high-quality food.
• Drive targets and performance with the team.
• Assist with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with branded menu standards.
• Enforce health and hygiene regulations across the kitchen.
