Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of. You will train staff, manage stock, and ensure the branded menu is executed to the highest standard. This role is based in a traditional pub setting within Ember Inns and Punch Bowl brands.

You will lead by example, smash targets with your team, and uphold health and safety regulations while delivering great food and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen team leader or supervisor in a pub/restaurant.
• Knowledge of health & hygiene regulations.
• Passion for training staff and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high quality food.
• Aim to smash targets with the team and improve performance.
• Assist with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with branded menu standards and recipes.
• Oversee health and hygiene compliance across the kitchen.
