Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in the UK is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of. You will train and inspire your team, manage the branded menu, and help deliver outstanding service across Red Lion by creating great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a busy pub or restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
• Ability to train and motivate junior chefs.
• Experience managing stock and food ordering.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver great food.
• Help smash targets with the team.
• Assist with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure operations align with branded menu and standards.
• Maintain health and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.
