Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of. You will lead and train the kitchen team, ensure quality and efficiency, and help manage stock and orders while upholding branded menu standards.

You will be instrumental in developing talent, maintaining hygiene standards, and driving performance to deliver exceptional experiences across our pub brands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a kitchen team in a busy pub/restaurant.
• Ability to train and develop chefs and kitchen staff.
• Strong focus on food quality, portion control and waste management.
• Commitment to High Hygiene standards and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high-quality food.
• Drive targets and performance with your team.
• Assist with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Master branded menu execution and consistency.
• Oversee health and hygiene compliance across the kitchen.
