Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Porter in Milton Keynes to keep the kitchen running smoothly and support the team in delivering great food experiences for guests.

You’ll be at the heart of the kitchen operation, assisting with cleaning, storage, deliveries and end-of-day duties in a fast-paced environment. Development opportunities exist through our Chef Development Programme and Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Reliability and proactive team support.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen team in delivering a positive dining experience.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to standard.
• Assist with basic food preparation during busy periods.
• Receive deliveries and store items safely and organised.
• Keep storage areas accessible and tidy.
• Clean kitchen and end-of-day cleaning.
• Remove waste promptly.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene standards.
