Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a kitchen support team member to help keep the kitchen running smoothly and assist the team in delivering great dining experiences for guests. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will help keep everything clean, organised and ready for service, with opportunities to develop through our Chef Development Programme.

You will be at the heart of the kitchen operation, supporting the team to deliver a smooth and efficient service in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork across shift teams.
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen team to deliver smooth, efficient service.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to standard.
• Support with basic food preparation during busy periods.
• Collect ingredients and equipment as needed by chefs.
• Receive deliveries and store items safely and organized.
• Maintain tidy storage areas for easy access to ingredients.
• Keep kitchen clean and ready for service, including end-of-day tasks.
• Remove waste promptly and safely.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
