Goole Market Hall is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations, supervise staff during service, and ensure food is prepared to high standards while maintaining a clean, safe environment. You will assist with stock control, waste management, and training, and you will work closely with management to deliver an excellent food offering for customers.

You should have GCSEs and strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene; two years of kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE education and good knowledge of kitchen hygiene principles.
• Leadership and organisational abilities are required.
• Interpersonal skills and flexibility to work shifts.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support kitchen staff during service.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to agreed standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management.
• Support training and development of kitchen team members.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and management teams.
• Step in to cover shifts or support service as required.
