Job summary

Holy Greens is looking for a hands-on kitchen leader to oversee prep, product quality, and cleanliness. You will support the back of house team, ensuring that ingredients are prepared correctly and deliveries are managed effectively.

The ideal candidate has prior kitchen experience, cares about food safety, and excels in teamwork and communication. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £38,000 per year along with various perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, prep or food production role.
• Experience leading or supporting others in a back of house environment.
• Strong food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the back of house team during prep and service.
• Prepare ingredients and products with care, accuracy and consistency.
• Make sure prep is completed to spec and ready for service.
• Receive and check deliveries, including quality, quantities and temperatures.
• Manage labelling, stock rotation and shelf-life controls.
• Keep kitchen, prep and storage areas clean, organised and safe.
• Follow food safety, allergen and health & safety processes consistently.
• Communicate clearly with the General Manager and front of house team.
• Support training and coaching for team members.
• Help manage waste, stock accuracy and daily kitchen routines.
