Job summary

Hastings Hotels Group is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to join the Cultra Inn kitchen team on the grounds of Culloden Estate & Spa. Under the Head Chef, Adele Crawford, you will contribute to a busy, high-standard operation and develop practical skills in hospitality.

Typical shifts from 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm with weekend availability, and a pay rate of £9.55 to £12.75 per hour. The role offers staff meals, employee discounts and clear opportunities for progression within our luxury

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean all kitchen areas and equipment to Hastings standard.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans; load/unload the dishwasher.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and floors.
• Report any equipment issues and stock security breaches promptly.
• Work with colleagues to ensure a respectful, efficient team environment.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene policies.

About The Role

To ensure that all Kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard of Cleanliness and Hygiene.

• To keep all kitchen areas clean. Typical tasks include washing dishes, pots, pans, loading and unloading the dish washer, emptying, and cleaning bins.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, and mopping floors.
• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
• To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as required by management.
