Job summary

Hutton Kitchens in Billericay, Essex, seeks a Kitchen Sales Designer to turn customers' ideas into bespoke, luxury kitchen designs and guide them from initial consultation to final sale. You will meet clients, produce plans and presentations, take measurements, and work with suppliers and installers to ensure projects progress smoothly.

The role offers a £35,000 basic salary plus commission with an OTE of £60,000+.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen design, kitchen sales or design-led sales.
• Strong eye for high-quality design and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to meet customers, present ideas and close sales.
• Experience with kitchen design and quoting software is required.

We are looking for a talented, motivated and creative Kitchen Sales Designer to join our team in Billericay, Essex.

You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, create inspiring kitchen designs and guide them through the complete process, from the initial consultation through to the final sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and consult with customers to understand their lifestyle, requirements, tastes and budget.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines creativity with strong commercial and customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in kitchen design, kitchen sales, interiors, fitted furniture or a similar design-led sales environment.
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for high-quality design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The confidence to meet customers, present ideas and close sales.
• A consultative approach to selling, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• A commercially focused mindset and motivation to achieve targets.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.
• Good IT skills and confidence using design and quotation software.
• Experience with kitchen design and quoting software is required.
