Job summary

Insight Select Limited is seeking a Kitchen Sales Designer in Tonbridge to blend design, consultative sales and project management. You will work closely with customers to translate ideas into practical, beautiful kitchen designs and manage projects from initial consultation to installation.

The role requires proven kitchen design experience and the ability to create accurate 2D and 3D designs using CAD software, with strong communication to present designs in showroom and on-site.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Sales Designer

Salary:30-35,000 + Commission

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Kitchen Sales Designer to join an established, successful family-run kitchen business with a strong reputation for quality and customer service.

This is a varied role combining kitchen design, consultative sales and project management, working closely with customers to understand their requirements and turn their ideas into practical, beautiful kitchen designs.

You will be responsible for managing projects from the initial customer consultation and design through to quotation, presentation and installation, while developing strong customer relationships and working towards quarterly sales targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Meet customers to understand their requirements, lifestyle and design preferences.
• Create accurate 2D and 3D kitchen designs using CAD software.
• Recommend appropriate products and provide accurate quotations.
• Present designs to customers both in the showroom and at homes/building sites.
• Build and maintain a strong customer network.
• Work closely with the sales team and MD to achieve sales targets.
• Manage projects through to completion, monitoring installation progress, timescales and budgets.
• Keep up to date with current kitchen design trends, products and training.
• Provide a consistently high level of customer service throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous kitchen design experience — essential.
• Experience using Articad and/or Easyquote, ideally.
• Good knowledge of kitchen installations and associated preparation works, including plumbing, electrics and plastering.
• Previous customer-facing sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Confidence engaging with customers and presenting designs.
• A creative approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisation and project management abilities.
• A genuine interest in kitchens, interiors or DIY.
• A clean driving licence.
• A confident, commercially minded approach with the motivation to close sales and achieve quarterly targets.This would suit someone who enjoys having ownership of the full customer journey, from turning an initial idea into a design through to seeing the finished project delivered.

The role is 5 days per week, with one weekend day required on a rota basis
