Job summary

The Ivy Collection is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter tojoin our team at our Bath location. You will support both back and front of house tasks, ensuring cleanliness and efficient kitchen operation. No previous experience is required, though kitchen experience is beneficial.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate well with the team. We offer competitive pay (hourly) with Tronc, 20 hours minimum contract, and attractive benefits including staff discounts and career

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Support kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation tasks.
• Ensure cleaning chemicals and equipment are stocked.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Restaurant/Kitchen Porter. The Restaurant/Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in both back and front of house tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies in designated areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
• Support kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Ensure chemicals and cleaning equipment are continuously stocked, i.e. blue roll & sanitizer.

Requirements:

• No previous experience is required, although experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Good level of Health & Safety knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
