Job summary

Wilson Vale is recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join a college kitchen in Oxford. This is a zero-hour contract on a rota, with responsibilities including deliveries, cleaning and restocking crockery and glassware, and assisting with basic food prep under the Executive Chef or Catering Manager.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain high standards of hygiene, and support a strong team to deliver daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Excellent service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and environment.
• High standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Excellent customer service and social skills.
• Be a team player and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, collect, clean and restock crockery and glassware.
• Assist with basic food preparation and ad-hoc kitchen tasks as required.
• Support the Executive Chef or Catering Manager to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
