Job summary

Sodexo at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital is seeking a Saturday Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen running smoothly, supporting chefs and ensuring every dish meets high standards. The role suits someone with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn food safety and hygiene practices.

You will work 7.5 hours on Saturdays (7-3 or 10-6) at Brentwood, with age-dependent pay and Sodexo benefits. Full training and a supportive team are guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Willingness to learn health & safety practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
• Wash and store pots, crockery and utensils properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pot wash area and machinery.
• Assist with food service, replenishment and clearing stations.
• Help with stock deliveries and rotation.
