Job summary

Sodexo Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital is seeking a kitchen porter to support our chefs and keep all areas clean and organised. You will wash pots, crockery, and utensils, maintain the pot wash area, and assist with service and stock rotation in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

We value a positive attitude, professionalism and a willingness to learn, with opportunities to gain skills in food safety and hygiene. Training and protective uniform provided, with inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene).

Responsibilities

• Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
• Wash and store pots, crockery, and utensils properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pot wash area and machinery.
• Assist with food service, replenishment, and clearing stations.
