The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG, is seeking a dynamic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team in Manchester. You will keep dishwashing area clean, support chefs, and help maintain hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

This part-time role offers flexible 8-hour or 24-hour contracts, paid overtime, a complimentary meal on shift, and opportunities to develop within IHG’s global network. You must meet UK work requirements and be eligible to work in the UK.

As a Kitchen Porter (Part-Time - 8 hour or 24 hour contract available), you can expect to carry out the following duties…

• Keeping our dishwashing area clean and safe (you will loading and unloading our dishwashing area in a fast-paced Kitchen environment whilst ensuring that the area is kept free of hazards) – experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment would be a plus but not essential!
• Working in the wider Kitchen team to ensure clear communication (you will be working closely with our Chefs in the wider Kitchen team, ensuring that communication lines are kept clear) – we are looking for someone who is confident working independently with minimal guidance but has strong communication skills!
• Sanitisation of work spaces (you will be working with various chemicals to ensure the sanitisation of our Kitchen in line with H&S regulation)– knowledge of cleaning chemicals and H&S regulation would be desirable but not essential!
