Job summary

IHG is seeking a Chef De Rang for InterContinental Edinburgh The George on a part-time contract. The role is 32 hours per week across a range of shifts, fixed-term until the end of the year.

You will own your section, guiding junior team members and leading by example while delivering high-quality guest service and luxury food & beverages. Previous experience in a similar role, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for luxury are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef De Rang or senior waiter/waitress.
• Eye for detail and ability to maintain InterContinental standards.

A fantastic opportunity for aChef De Rangto joinus at our InterContinental Edinburgh the George on a Part-Time contract! We are looking for someone who is available to work 32 hours per week across a range of shifts, fixed-term until the end of the year.

You will earn £13.41 per hour.

You will take ownership of your own section, supporting and guiding junior team members, so this role would be ideal for someone ready to step up and lead by example.

As a Chef De Rang, you are confident running your own section, setting the standard for your team and are passionate about delivering first-rate guest service through high-quality food & beverages to all guests.

To succeed as Chef De Rang, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Chef De Rang or senior waiter/waitress, ideally in a 4 or 5* Hotel or high-end restaurant

• An eye for detail - you will make sure every service in your section is up to InterContinental standards

• Passion for providing luxury experiences, not shy to go above and beyond to personalise our Guests stay and provide your local wisdom to enhance their experience

• Confidence to support, guide and motivate junior team members, keeping guests as our centre focus!
