Job summary

Cloud 23 at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel is seeking a dynamic Bar Host (Part-Time) to join the IHG Hotels & Resorts family in Manchester. You will greet guests, take them to their seats, explain menus and assist with reservations and enquiries to ensure a seamless service.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel, with familiarity of an F&B booking system preferred. The role offers guaranteed hours, staff meals, and benefits within a prestigious luxury hotel

• Experience within Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host, Receptionist or Senior Waiting Staff.
• Experience using an F&B booking system is preferred.

As a Bar Host at Cloud 23

Your main duties and responsibilities will be greeting guests with a warm and friendly welcome (ensuring they are taken to their seats and menus are explained); manage the booking systems to keep track of reservations and ensure confirmations are sent to all customers; assisting our customers in person, over the phone and via email with any queries or complaints and working with the Bar Management team to ensure a seamless service at all times.

We are looking for someone who has...

• Availability to work 24 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Experience working within a Restaurant, Bar or Hotel as a Host, Receptionist or Senior Waiting Staff
• Experience using an F&B booking system is preferred
• Overall, ready to work in the Manchester Deansgate team and provide our guests with a warm Manchester welcome!
