Job summary

Thornbury Castle Hotel is looking for a dedicated kitchen team member to support daily dishwashing and basic vegetable prep on a 40 hours contract. You will work evenings and weekends, with meals provided on duty and free parking, while adhering to Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs' utensils.
• Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
• Support the team and help colleagues where needed, training via internal & external professionals.
• Uniform and meals provided whilst on duty and free parking.

The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment programme bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.
  40 hours contract
• £12.71 per hour
• Will include evening and weekend shifts
