Thornbury Castle Relais & Chateaux in Thornbury, England, is looking for a Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Assistant to join our 5★ hotel team. You will support the operation in the kitchen, handling dishwashing and basic prep while upholding high food safety standards.

This zero-hours role includes evening and weekend shifts. Training is provided, and you will work as part of a dedicated team in a famed Tudor castle, with meals on duty and staff parking.

Responsabilités

• Use industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils.
• Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Basic preparation of vegetables under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
• Support the team and help colleagues where needed.

You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in the kitchen, creating memorable and impressive experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Job Description

• Zero hours contract
• £12.71 per hour
• Will include evening and weekend shifts
• Use the industrial dishwashers to clean all crockery and chefs’ utensils
• Clean the Kitchen Areas following full Food Safety and COSHH guidelines
